Long Acre Equipment Co. ("Long Acre," "we," "us") is a SLANTD Holdings company based in Mansfield, TX. This page explains what information we collect through longacreequipment.com, why we collect it, and how it's handled. What we collect
When you use the reservation, purchase, or offer forms on this site, we collect:
- Contact details you give us — your name, phone number, and (if you provide it) email address.
- Request details — the item you're asking about, requested dates, pickup/delivery preference, and, for offers, the amount you propose.
- Basic technical information — the IP address a request comes from, logged automatically as part of submitting a form, mainly to help us spot spam or abusive submissions.
We don't ask for payment card details, banking information, or government ID through this site. Any deposit or payment is arranged directly with our staff by phone.
How we use it
We use what you submit to:
- Call or text you back to confirm equipment availability, exact dates, pricing, and any deposit before a reservation, sale, or offer is final.
- Coordinate pickup or delivery logistics.
- Keep our own internal records of reservations, sales, and inventory — the same request record is what our staff work from when they follow up with you.
We do not use your contact information for unrelated marketing you didn't ask for, and we do not sell or rent your information to third parties.
Where it's stored
This site's backend runs on Supabase, a hosted database and application platform, to store catalog, inventory, and request information, including the contact details you submit. Access to that data is restricted to Long Acre / SLANTD staff who need it to process reservations, sales, and offers. We take reasonable steps to keep that access controlled, but as with any online system, we can't guarantee absolute security.
TODO (needs an ownership decision): a specific data-retention period for request and contact records has not yet been set. Until that's decided, records are kept for as long as they're useful for running the business (e.g., ongoing rentals, warranty or dispute follow-up), and you can ask us to delete your information at any time — see "Your choices" below.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not use marketing cookies, ad trackers, or third-party analytics scripts. The only outside service this site talks to on your behalf is Supabase, used to load the live catalog and submit your request.
Sharing
We don't sell your personal information. We may share it narrowly with:
- Service providers who help us run the site or store data (currently, Supabase), strictly to provide that service.
- Law enforcement or other parties if required by law, or to protect the safety, property, or rights of Long Acre, our customers, or the public.
Your choices
You can contact us at any time to ask what information we have on file for you, correct it, or request that we delete it. Call or text 817.381.6518 or email admin@slantdholdings.com. If you'd rather we not follow up on a request you submitted, just tell us when we reach out and we'll honor that.
Children's privacy
This site is intended for adults arranging equipment rentals or purchases and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page as the business or the site changes. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
